About

“…an outstanding ability to tackle complex and messy problems with a well structured and high integrity approach.”

Tyndale Technical Authoring was established in 2015 to offer expert support to companies with the writing of their technical documentation. Larger companies, especially those in software development with regular product updates, may employ teams of technical authors. Where this is not viable, outsourcing the technical authoring becomes an attractive option.

To assist companies with managing costs, Tyndale offers flexible and bespoke pricing packages for specific tasks such as the preparation of a user’s guide or an application note.

Robert Pallant – Director

In common with many technical authors, Robert came to the profession following a successful career elsewhere; in his case, after working for 15 years as a practising chemist, mostly as part of a multi-disciplinary applied research department for a major fire protection company. He then spent over 3 years as a technical author for a leading manufacturer of scientific instrumentation before founding Tyndale Technical Authoring. This background allows Robert to communicate effectively with experts from a variety of disciplines, digest highly specialised information and then produce advice and guidance that is helpful to a wide range of customers and users.

Robert is a member of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC), the professional body for technical authors in the UK, and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

“We’d recommend Robert and Tyndale to other software developers who want to provide self-help tools and optimise their customers’ experience of using their products.” [Client recommendation]
